Melissa qualified as an AAT member in 2008 with distinction

 

Melissa began her financial career in the City of London in 1987, and subsequently spent 17 years within the investment management industry. She managed a large team within her role at Royal & Sun Alliance Investment Management.

 

After starting a family, Melissa retrained using her background in finance in order to offer bookkeeping services to local businesses. She gained passes with distinction at the AAT and IAB, as well as receiving a top student worldwide award.

 

Melissa is proficient in Quickbooks, Sage Accounting and Xero, but can turn her hand to any system.

 

Melissa's eye for detail extends to the written word as well as numbers, making her an excellent interpteter of rules and handbooks. She is a highly experienced bookkeeper and can resolve problems for businesses quickly and easily.

 

When Melissa finds some down time, she likes to spend time with her family and her horse. She loves catching up with friends. She is a keen sportswoman too - running, skiing and horseriding to balance out her busy work life.
